Editorial Workflow in ALUMNI. IN BOOKS – Stages:
Submission:

The author or editor submits the manuscript via the platform.

Metadata is filled in (title, authors, abstract, etc.).

Upload of main files.
Receipt:

The editor receives the submission and checks its compliance with editorial policy.

The submission can be accepted, rejected, or returned for adjustments before review.
Peer Review:

The editor forwards the manuscript to reviewers.

Review types: double-blind, single-blind, or open.

Multiple rounds of review may occur.

The editor makes a decision based on the reviews: accept, reject, or request revisions.
Copyediting:

The accepted manuscript is prepared for publication.

External steps like formatting, proofreading, and layout take place here.

Files are uploaded with version control.
Publication:

Upload of the final version in the desired formats (PDF, ePUB, etc.).

Addition of cover, ISBN, DOI, and other metadata.

The book is added to the publisher’s catalog in ALUMNI. IN BOOKS.
